Murphy’s Pup Bus was founded in Austin with a revolutionary vision: combine the convenience of door-to-door service on our dog bus (Pup Bus), with a dog ranch adventure experience designed for what dogs really love. Being with other dogs in the great outdoors….splashing, hiking, and playing. We’re not just a daycare – we are a dog-loving experience committed to enriching the lives of Austin’s coolest canines through adventure, socialization, and genuine care. This brings calm and joy to both our Pups and Pup Parents alike.

About Craig
I was inspired to carry forward the shared joy that all of my dogs through my life have given to me, and I know I have given to them. This joy has not only lifted me and my family’s life, but that of others. Adventure has been a cornerstone of this joy. These adventures, whether hiking and swimming in the great outdoors, playing with other dogs, traveling on a road trip, or simply resting after an amazing day, have sparked this joy for both our dogs and their humans. After 28 years in the corporate world, I finally listened to my heart, my friends, and my family by shifting my passion and deep connection with dogs from a part-time hobby, to becoming both a full-time “job”, and way-of-life. I am thrilled to be bringing my deep experience, love, and sense of adventure to Austin’s Pup and Pup Parent community!
🐾 About our Pup Pals 🐾
The Murphy’s Pup Bus experience will be the greatest that Austin offers, through not only that of the amazing bus and ranch experience, but that of the counselors who will ensure every dog of all sizes, colors, and shapes, are able to flourish.
We call our counselors Pup Pals. They are the most loving and talented that Austin has to offer. All of whom are committed to Safety, Fun, and lots of love. All of our Pup Pals are not only deeply experienced with dogs and dog behavior, but also dog CPR certified.
Katelyn – Pup Pal
Katelyn brings 8 years of professional animal experience to Murphy's Pup Bus. She spent the last 4 years managing doggy day care, boarding, and bathing across several day-care kennel & vet facilities. Katelyn's dog experience, combined with many years working on horse-ranches in New Jersey, has given her a strong sense of connection to all animals. When asked why she wanted to be a part of MPB, Katelyn responded, "I’ve always believed dogs deserve more than just care. They deserve fun, adventure, and real connection. MPB brings that to life, and I’m excited to be part of it." Katelyn also enjoys spending time hiking and exploring with her dog Perky, as well as reading, swimming, and spending time with her ferrets. MPB is so fortunate to have her!
Benjamin – Pup Pal
Benjamin brings 10 years of professional dog experience to Murphy's Pup Bus. This began while attending University and leading large Pack Walks. Since then, he has worked in doggy daycares engaging with up to 40 dogs at a time. He has also served as a dog behavior trainer at Austin Pets Alive working for the Behavior Team where he has excelled on behavior modification for challenging dogs with the goal of finding great homes for them. Benjamin is also certified as a Professional Dog Walker by the IAP and pet CPR trained. When asked why he wanted to be a part of MPB, Benjamin responded, "There are 2 things that I love, being outdoors and dogs, so being part of this team brings both together. I am so grateful to join and help make these lucky dogs happy!". When not busy at work with dogs, he also enjoys working out, eating healthy and taking evening walks with his dogs. MPB is so fortunate to have Benjamin as part of the team!
Rachel Nobles – Pup Pal
Rachel brings 5 years of professional and volunteer dog experience to Murphy's Pup Bus. Her experience includes serving as the lead at a dog ranch overseeing 150 dogs and multiple dog counselors ensuring a high-level of safe fun. She also has deep experience in dog behavioral assessments. Her training includes dog behavioral training and vet med training. Rachel also has spent personal time as a volunteer for the Paws Shelter. When asked why she wanted to be a part of MPB, Rachel responded, "working with dogs has always been my greatest passion. There's no feeling more rewarding than seeing the joy it brings these dogs when you give them the space to do what they do best; be a dog. And MPB does just that." When not busy at work with dogs, she also enjoys playing trumpet in her local community band and jazz band. MPB is thrilled to have Rachel as part of the team!

- Retrofitted school bus: Front/rear AC, doggy seat-belts, benches designed for safety & comfort.
- Fenced property, GPS tracking, always-on supervision, daily bus, and ranch safety inspections.

Pup Behavior Protocols
100% committed to ensuring the safety & happiness of our entire Pup Crew. We have clear safety & ‘fun-for-all’ protocols. We love all dogs and recognize that some dogs may not be a good fit based on how they socialize on the bus and/or ranch.
